The IMME Becas / HACEMOS NTX Scholarship program will open in July 2026.

The IMME Becas / HACEMOS NTX Scholarship Program is designed to assist students pursuing a postsecondary education in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Award amounts are determined by the recipient’s educational institution or program type. The following scholarship awards are available for the 2026–2027 academic year:
- Two-Year College: $1,000
- Four-Year College or University: $2,000
- Education for Employment*: $1,000
* Education for Employment programs include vocational and trade training, professional certifications, technical skills courses, workforce development programs, apprenticeships, and other educational opportunities that enhance employability. Eligible programs may also include HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) preparation and examination programs.
The recipient selection process includes the consideration of academic performance, financial need, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances. Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Awards are payable to the institution recipient enrolls for the current school years.
Applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Currently reside in a North Texas county:
- Dallas Counties – Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman and Rockwall
- Fort Worth Counties – Hood, Johnson, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise
- Have a minimum Cumulative Unweighted Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
- Students pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate / Master’s Degree Program:
- Must be 25 years of age or younger as of the application deadline
- Plan to enroll in an undergraduate, graduate / master’s degree program at an accredited two- or four-year college/university located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex for the upcoming academic year
- Plan to enroll full-time (12 credit hours per semester for undergraduate, 9 credit hours per semester for graduate / master’s)
- Students pursuing Education for Employment:
- Must be 35 of age years or younger as of the application deadline
- Plan to enroll in a program and/or workshop for technical skills training in trades that enhance employability (includes HiSET examination programs and training)
Gather ALL required materials:
- Students pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate / Master’s Degree Program:
- Two (2) recommendation letters (Academic and Professional)
- Students pursuing Education for Employment:
- One (1) recommendation letter (Academic or Professional)
- Copy of most recent school transcript
- Copy of ID or other record with proof of DFW address to validate eligibility
- YouTube video created based on the requirements given on the application
- Video visibility can either be Public or Unlisted; do NOT set the video as Private or we will not be able to review
All documents must be received BEFORE the scholarship deadline for your application to be reviewed.
