IME BECAS Scholarship Program
IME BECAS is an initiative of the Consulate General of México in Dallas dedicated to supporting college and university students in North Texas. We would greatly appreciate your support to increase IME BECAS/HACEMOS Dallas 2024 funds. Our goal is to raise $45,000 USD from companies and individuals for a total of $76,000 USD in scholarships for students of the DFW area.

IME BECAS es una iniciativa del Consulado General de México en Dallas dedicada a apoyar a estudiantes universitarios del Norte de Texas. Agradeceríamos mucho su apoyo para aumentar los fondos de IME BECAS/HACEMOS Dallas 2024. Nuestra meta para recaudar es $45,000 USD de empresas e individuos para un total de $76,000 USD en becas para estudiantes del área de DFW.
HACEMOS Scholarship Program is designed to assist Latinx students pursuing a postsecondary education*
Scholarship Award Amount:
2024-2025 recipients attending a two-year institution receive $1,000. Recipients attending a four-year institution receive $2,000.**
Applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Student currently residing in North Texas counties listed below:
- Dallas Counties – Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman and Rockwall.
- Fort Worth Counties – Denton, Hood, Irving, Johnson, Parker, Tarrant and Wise.
- Current high school seniors, high school graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates (25 years of age or younger as of the application deadline).
- Plan to enroll in an undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four year college, or university located in the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, or any other U.S. territory for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Enroll in at least 12 credit hours per semester in coursework leading to a degree.
- Have a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale or equivalent).
Scholarship Deadline: July 19th 2024.
- Copy of ID validating foreign country descent. The student or parent must provide proof of foreign nationality.
- Copy of official school transcript (Note: To be considered an official transcript it must have a school seal and/ or school signature).
- At least 1 recommendation letter (Academic or Professional).
- Have your YouTube video created based on the requirements given on the scholarship form.

Please select the corresponding option in the form and have documents emailed to submissions@hacemosimebecas-dfw.org All documents must be received BEFORE the scholarship deadline for your application to be reviewed.
